Armitage's wide range of advertising trailers provides an efficient, cost-effective way of making sure your message reaches the public and gives your product the exposure it needs. The range starts with an 8 feet long by 6 feet high by 4 feet wide, single axle trailer, clad in either hard-wearing phenolised timber or in stay-white glass reinforced plastic/plywood composite and goes right up, in two-foot stages, to 20 feet long, twin axle vehicles.

When specified with a floor and hatch, our advertising trailer can readily be ballasted for stable towing or even carry cargo. In its basic form, with neither hatch nor floor, the advert trailer is just the thing for roadside, semi-permanent advertising. All our advertising trailers are based on galvanised steel chassis and A-frames. They can be specified with single or twin axles and with or without brakes (some of the bigger advertising trailers must have brakes because they weigh over 750kg).

Advertising trailers with phenolised timber finishes are ideal for carrying banners or paper posters. They are available right up to industry-standard, 48-sheet billboard trailer, 20 feet by 10 feet. Our GRP ad trailers are perfect for sign-writing, adhesive vynil lettering or images. The surface is gel-coated, making it just as weather-proof and colour stable as a boat! GRP trailers are available with a seamless signage area up to 20 feet by 8 feet.

Another great way of spreading your message is a fully road-legal ad van. This version of our ad van, completed by Armitage's recently, carries an 18 feet by 8 feet advertising area and optional side skirts.

In this case we took a Merecedes Sprinter chassis cab, fabricated a  light duty chassis extension and custom-built a sub frame on which to mount the ad van body. In many cases we can make such a chassis extension strong enough to carry a towbar. Once again, the choice of surface, phenolised timber or white GRP, is up to you.

Construction and Use Regulations do set size limitations, governed by a percentage of the donor vehicle's wheelbase, but as you can see, that still leaves you plenty of scope for an ad van equally at home in city traffic or on the motorway, wherever your advertising will be best seen by your potential customers.
